The R package hhh4contacts implements
profile likelihood inference for a parametric social contact matrix,
incorporated into a spatio-temporal model for infectious disease counts,
surveillance::hhh4().
The method is described in
Meyer and Held (2017, Biostatistics)
with an application to norovirus gastroenteritis in Berlin, Germany,
using contact data from the POLYMOD survey.
This package contains the data and a
demo("hhh4contacts")
to reproduce the main results of the paper.
